Richmond has spent over a decade dedicated to the Afterschool Space. Richmond started his after school journey at the age of 15 working in an under severed community teaching music. As years went on in 2014, Richmond was graced with the opportunity to serve as the Leader of the Kaleidoscope (Afterschool) program with Charleston County School District’s Department of Expanded Learning. His servant leadship was felt among the entire school community and later felt through out the entire school district when he went to work for the Superintendent of Schools, Deputy Superintendent and Chief of Schools for CCSD, before relocating. For 8 years, Richmond lead several successful  teams, through the school year and summer time, in 2019, he was awarded Site Coordinator of the year for his hard work and dedication to the department along with providing High Quality programming for students and ensuring school alignment.
